Information collected

• Contact form. When you submit the contact form, the name, email, message, and any optional phone or company you provide are sent so I can reply.
• Newsletter subscriptions. If you subscribe to blog updates, your email address is stored so I can send new posts.
• Analytics. The site uses Google Analytics to understand aggregate traffic patterns (pageviews, referrers, general location, device type). No personally identifying analytics data is sold or shared.
• Anti-spam. The contact and subscribe forms use Google reCAPTCHA v3 to protect against abuse. reCAPTCHA collects hardware and software information and sends it to Google for analysis.

How the information is used

Information you submit is used only to respond to your message, deliver blog updates you signed up for, keep the site secure, and understand how the site is used. It is not sold. Access is limited to Shane Perreault and the third-party services listed below.

You can unsubscribe from blog emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email. You can request that your contact information be deleted by emailing me through the contact page. You can also block cookies in your browser, though some site functionality may not work correctly.
